The place to go for conversations about the news

Don’t miss out on News Club

This week, we launched News Club - the place to go for conversations about the news. There’s a lot of places to get quality news, but it can be difficult and time-consuming to wade through it all to get to the good stuff. That’s where News Club can help. Each week, we’ll do the heavy lifting for you by curating a recommended news list on a topic - we call it Club Picks, and this week’s is below. Then through newsletter, podcast and social (@thesquiznewsclub), we’ll ensure you’re across it.

To kick things off, we thought it would be helpful to give you an understanding of why pressure is building over US President Joe Biden’s age. That’s been sparked by a Justice Department investigation report released last weekend that described him as a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory”.

Yesterday, we published our first podcast episode. You can give it a listen below or wherever you get your podcasts (Apple/Spotify).

News Club is also about keeping you at the heart of our news conversations, so if you have questions, comments, or ideas, just hit reply with what’s on your mind. And there’s so much more rolling out on the @thesquiznewsclub Instagram account. Give it a follow so you don’t miss a thing.

Finally, thank you for being part of the News Club. It’s something new for us, and we reckon it’s going to be a lot of fun.

From your friends in news,

Claire Kimball and Kate Watson
